Powder Coating

Powder Coating

5/18/2026

Powder coating is one of the highest-quality and most durable methods of metal surface finishing. In our modern powder coating plant, it enables us to create uniform, color-stable, and highly resistant surfaces every day, suitable for a wide range of industrial products.

It is widely used across construction, manufacturing, and technical industries – from fencing systems and machine covers to components that must withstand demanding operating conditions over the long term. In such applications, the quality of the surface finish is essential.

1. Surface Preparation – The Foundation of Long Service Life

To ensure a strong and reliable final finish, the metal surface must be perfectly cleaned. At Aspera Technology, the process therefore begins with chemical pretreatment, which removes grease, dust, and other impurities.

Depending on the material type, the process includes several steps corresponding to the coating technology used in our powder coating line:

  • degreasing,
  • rinsing,
  • phosphating treatment,
  • drying.

The parts are then transported via a conveyor system to the powder coating process itself, which is fully controlled and monitored.

2. Powder Coating Application – Even and Precise

In the modern coating booth, the powder coating material is applied electrostatically. This ensures excellent adhesion even in hard-to-reach areas and creates a smooth, uniform coating layer. We use Wagner technology, known for its precision and maximum process stability.

Advantages of this process:

  • no paint runs or dripping,
  • smooth and consistent surface finish,
  • precise control of coating thickness.

The range of colors is very wide – customers can choose any RAL shade and various surface finishes (gloss, matte, textured). Aspera Technology also works with multiple powder coating suppliers, allowing us to select coating parameters precisely according to the product requirements.

3. Oven Curing – Creating Exceptional Durability

After the powder layer is applied, the coated parts move into the curing oven. At temperatures of approximately 160–200 °C, the powder melts and chemically bonds with the metal surface. The result is a hard and homogeneous coating suitable even for demanding industrial environments.

This type of surface:

  • protects against corrosion,
  • resists mechanical damage,
  • is suitable for harsh operating conditions,
  • provides long-term color stability.

 4. Quality Control – Nothing Leaves the Coating Line Without Inspection

After curing, every part undergoes thorough inspection:

  • coating thickness,
  • adhesion,
  • coating uniformity,
  • visual quality without defects.

This is particularly important for parts that must remain scratch-free (e.g. aluminium facade panels) or for large production series where consistent quality of every piece is essential.

What We Most Commonly Powder Coat

At Aspera Technology, we regularly powder coat products such as:

  • fences and railings,
  • machine covers and industrial equipment housings,
  • refrigerated shelving systems and components,
  • fittings and structural parts,
  • agricultural machinery components,
  • automotive parts,
  • heat pump casings.

Thanks to our automated coating line, we can efficiently process larger production batches with minimal variation between parts.
